How To Convert Your Video For iPod with ConvertMovie

Convert your video for iPod now! It is avaliable in ConvertMovie! Now any AVI(DivX, XviD), MPEG (MPG), VOB, DVD, MOV or WMV/ASF (Window Media) file can be easily converted to MP4 format with ConvertMovie and transfered to the new iPod. Follow these simple steps to put you favorite video to iPod: |
Step 1. Add Files
- Drag and Drop the files you need dirrectly to the playlist or press the
Add button
to choose and add files from the files browser.
- If the file does not appear, select the option for showing all files from the Files of Type List.
Tip. You may choose the batch of files in one turn. Press and hold Ctrl button on your Keyboard and pick files you need.

Step 2. Output Format
ConvertMovie supports two presets for MP4: iPod(320x240) and iPod for TV(532x400)
- iPod(320x240) is the best settings to watch the video on iPod. The default options are: Width 320 pixels, Height 240 pixels, frame per second 25, sound is in AAC format.
- iPod fot TV(532x400) The video saved with the preset could be watched on TV. To watch video from iPod on TV, you need to connect iPod to AV output on your TV first.

Step 3. Convert
- Select a folder where you’d like your new files to be saved in.
- Press CONVERT button to convert the selected files to MP4.
Tip. To check the converted files right after the conversion, put a tick to "Show output directory when done" option.

Step 4. Transfer to iPod
- Attach your iPod to your computer and synch the iPod with iTunes.
To play the movie on your iPod, select "Videos" then "Movies" from the iPod Main Menu. Movies will be listed here alphabetically. Click on the desired movie to play.
